IC Bellagio CEO Andrea Grisdale has been on Wendy’s WOW list of “Trusted Travel Experts” since its inception in 2014 and was invited to serve on a panel at her first-ever Wendy Perrin Global Travel Summit in New York in 2015.

WTTC
In May 2016, IC Bellagio’s Andrea Grisdale was appointed as Italy’s first-ever Regional Member of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). As the global authority on the economic and social contribution of travel and tourism, the WTTC works to promote sustainable industry growth, create jobs, drive exports, and generate prosperity – goals that Andrea is proud to support.
In March 2025, she was also named Vice Chair of the WTTC’s Together in Travel initiative, launched alongside thirteen founding partners. This innovative program supports small and medium-sized enterprises through mentorship, resources, and a global platform that amplifies the voices of artisans, guides, hosts, and local changemakers at the heart of our industry.
Through advocacy with governments and international institutions – such as a trip to Brussels to meet with the President of the European Parliament – and through participation in global events like the annual Leaders Forum, which has welcomed keynote speakers including former US President Obama, Andrea is grateful for the opportunity to contribute her knowledge, skills, and experience to strengthen tourism in Italy and elevate the profile of IC Bellagio.
FTO
FTO (Federation of Organized Tourism) represents the Italian entrepreneurship and industry of organized tourism. It is affiliated with Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia and, at the European level, with ECTAA. The organization brings together over 2,000 of the leading companies in the sector, is headquartered in Milan, and has a presence across the entire national territory.
FTO is the most representative Italian association for:
- Revenue in the tourism distribution sector
- Value of domestic and international airline ticket sales
- Business travel company significance
- Value of incoming organized tourism
