Giving with Purpose

At IC Bellagio, we believe in giving back to the communities that inspire us and sharing our success with causes close to our hearts. Our commitment to supporting meaningful charities across Italy reflects our values of care, connection, and responsibility. From initiatives that preserve Italy’s rich cultural heritage to programs that uplift vulnerable communities, we take pride in partnering with organizations that make a lasting impact. Together, we aim to create a brighter future.

The Place of Wonders E.T.S. is a foundation created to protect, promote and pass on Italy’s centuries-old artisanal traditions. Founded in 2022 as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by the Babini family, owners of The Hospitality Experience hotel collection, the Foundation supports the future of Italian craftsmanship through scholarships, training programs and cultural promotion.
IC Bellagio is proud to support the Foundation’s “Passaggio del Saper Fare – Umbria” project, developed with Atelier Giuditta Brozzetti in Perugia, one of the last handloom weaving workshops in Italy. This one-year training program gives two young weavers the opportunity to learn an ancient craft directly within the atelier, helping to safeguard a precious heritage of hands, memory and talent.
Through this collaboration, we hope to help keep Italy’s craftsmanship alive and encourage travelers to discover, respect and become ambassadors of the country’s extraordinary “saper fare.”

The Place of Wonders

Casa la Vita provides safe havens for mothers facing hardship and victims of violence, along with their young children. The organization works to build a network of care, collaborating with institutions and organizations across the country to support residents in rebuilding their lives. These mother-and-child homes offer protection and assistance, the children in their care often come from environments of abuse, neglect, or trauma, with no real alternatives for safety, wellbeing, or education. The community’s mission is to break these cycles by supporting the families. They provide food, housing, school enrollment, academic support, and recreational activities. Additionally, the organization assists in job searches and helps mothers work towards regaining independence.

This inspiring non-profit organization in nearby Limbiate breeds and trains seeing-eye dogs to help the sightless community master their everyday challenges and fully live up to their potential. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Cani Guida Limbiate, 50 guide dogs go to the families that need them most every year – but many more are still on the waiting list. IC Bellagio has committed to supporting their mission by donating one euro for each of our travelers to the Servizio Cani Guida dei Lions and by fostering one of the organization’s puppies. As a so-called “Puppy Walker”, we are hosting black lab puppy Frida from the age of 3 to 12 months when she will be ready to begin her formal guide dog training. It is our hope that our donations will help enrich the lives of the sightless by giving them the independence and confidence that comes with having a seeing-eye dog.
